SURJ Bay Area is presenting our second event in our speakers series featuring our Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPoC) Accountability Partners. This series gives the community an opportunity to hear from our Partners, learn about what they are doing in the community and find out how we can support their work.
We invite you to join us to hear from Initiate Justice! Initiate Justice aims to end mass incarceration by activating the power of the people directly impacted. They organize their members, both inside and out to advocate for their freedom and change criminal justice policy in California. They have over 45,000 inside members, over 200 inside organizers and over 200 outside organizers and is 100% led by people directly impacted by incarceration. Closed captioning available.
